Welcome to Kindergarten! I am so excited for the upcoming school year! Let me tell you a bit about myself. My name is Melanie Crooks and I have been teaching for 23 years. I started off in 5th grade and was there for two years. I moved to 1st grade and taught a Kindergarten and 1st grade loop class. The past 19 years have been in Kindergarten. I am married and have two children. My husband Dusty and I have a son, Zachary that is 20 years old and attending ASU. We also have a 14 year old daughter, Laynee, that keeps us busy.
Kindergarten has changed tremendously. The expectations are high but I feel we can get every child to where they need to be if we work together. My door is always open. Never hesitate to call if ever any questions. Here is to an amazing year.
